Master Planning and Concept Architecture
Hospitality & Entertainment Destination is a waterfront development in Jeddah that creates a transition between the energy of the city and the calmer coastal environment. The architectural and urban-planning strategy establishes the project as a gateway, connecting contrasting urban and natural conditions through a unified hospitality destination.
The project explores the relationship between Jeddah’s vibrant urban character and the tranquillity of its waterfront setting. Its masterplan is structured as a bridge between the city and the sea, using architecture, landscape and public space to mediate between these contrasting environments. Rather than treating the urban and natural contexts as separate conditions, the design brings them together within a cohesive hospitality destination, creating a balanced arrival experience and a strong sense of connection to the waterfront.
